I met you in the airport in Phoenix and you were so kind. You took time to talk to me and my son. I remind him of how even a great man took time to reach out to us. It is a way I can teach him how important it is to always think of others.

I teach in middle school and have always been a fan. When you visited Afghanistan a few years ago to help the UN, I had my class study your life. Many people don't know how much you have done to unite others. You have always been an inspiration, and young kids look up to an athlete who is also someone who cares.

Many people do not know you met with Saddam Hussein to negotiate the release of hostages during the first Gulf War. I remember hearing of this and knowing that you are the Greatest not just in the ring but in life.

You're a great boxer and a greater speaker. I don't know which I like better -- hearing your words or watching you box. A lot of people don't know what a great humanitarian you are, and how thoughtful. They can read The Soul of a Butterfly and they will love you more.
